Service Description

Languages: Polish, English About Me I am a psychologist, working as a psychotherapist in my Private Practise. I work with teenagers and adults, many of whom are immigrants or students – Polish people living abroad, or English speaking people living in Poland. For some of my clients it is important that I know the experience of being an immigrant myself. What I CAN HELP WITH If you feel like your way of living is no longer bringing you happiness and peace. If you experience anxiety, depression or panic attacks or maybe your body is showing symptoms of a physical illness for which doctors can’t find any biological causes. If you find the support and advice from your friends and family is not enough and if you feel ready to search for your own answers for a positive change, I will happily assist you in the process of change. QUALIFICATIONS I have a Masters Degree in Psychology and Postgraduate in Clinical Psychology. I also passed a Two Year Integrative Psychotherapy Course. I am a Member of the British Psychological Society and a Member of the Polish Psychologists’ Association in the United Kingdom and I am Trustee of this Association. I am also a Member of the Polish Psychological Association and a Board Member of its Gdańsk Unit. I am a Member of the Polish Psychiatric Association. 3 FUN THINGS ABOUT ME 1. I am a runner. I ran three Half-Marathons, and many 5K and 10K races. I sometimes “prescribe” running to my patients ... and I often wish I could prescribe therapy to my running mates! 2. I was a member of the Student’s Theatre group and used to perform on stage. 3. Besides my Masters Degree of Psychology I also have a Master Degree in Polish Philology, but I never had a single job where I could make this degree useful!
